The correct UV dose is crucial for reliable curing. The UV-MACS 2.1 is used to calibrate and analyze PRUUVE UV strips in order to determine the actual UV dose applied during the process.
The correct UV dose is crucial for reliable curing. If it is too low, curing may be incomplete. An unnecessarily high dose, on the other hand, can place a greater strain on the material and increase energy consumption.
With the UV-MACS 2.1 the UV dose actually applied in the process can be determined precisely and reproducibly. To do this, the flexible PRUUVE UV strips are calibrated before use, exposed to UV radiation during the UV process, and then analyzed using the UV-MACS.
This allows UV processes to be reliably monitored, compared, and specifically optimized—even at measurement points that are difficult to access with conventional dosimeters.
